No, I didn’t catch her mid-lick. Her tongue no longer stays in her mouth.

Big ass flag

She's a grand old...
This is the gigantic American flag that flies in my office complex, filmed on a sunny day with a stiff wind. I was able to get fairly close to the flag and almost the same height on one of the upper floors of the parking garage.

It’s not much of a photo, but I did make a stop tonight specifically to take photos.

Same batholith, different perspective

Batholith
Another shot from our visit to Enchanted Rock. If you look at the large version of the shot of this same formation that I posted two days ago, you can see some climbers making their way up its side. By the time I took this shot, they’d made it to the summit.

Windmill

Autumn
This is the windmill in the greenbelt behind our house. Due to careful placement of the camera, you can’t see the suburban homes all around it. Also, if you look at the large size of the photo, you can see some palm-like plants that someone planted in the greenbelt. I tried to mostly hide them behind the windmill.
I’ve photographed this windmill on numerous occasions in the six years we’ve lived here. I took this photo on November 29, 2008. I’m really glad the developer left it when he turned this homestead into a subdivision (also glad he put a concrete plate over the old well near it).
