3 Tbls. butter or marg.
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup milk (add 2 more Tbls for Welbilt/Dak machines)
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 Tbls. sugar
1/2 tsp. dried dill
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
In a small skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add onion and saute 8-10
minutes until onion is soft but not brown. Remove from heat; allow mixture to
cool for 10 min. before adding to it to the bread pan. Place all ingredients
including onion mixture in bread pan, select Light Crust setting, and press
Start. After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake
rack, and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.
Herb Bread Dipping Sauce
1/4 cup Extra light virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon dry parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon dry rosemary leaves
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
