Pot Roast w/Creamy Mushroom Sauce

   2 1/2  pounds        boneless beef chuck roast
   1      envelope      dry onion soup mix
   1      can           cream of mushroom soup -- (10 3/4 oz.)

Place roast in the slow cooker.  Add dry onion soup mix; top with
undiluted mushroom soup.  Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or until
meat is tender.

It suggests serving it with mashed potatoes or over cooked noodles.  The
gravy is certainly delicious for either one of those!
