Italian Roast Beef Sandwiches

3 pounds Chuck Roast
1 envelope Italian dressing mix
1 envelope Au Jus mix
1 can of beef consumme
Cheese slices (optional)
Just put it all in the crockpot and cook on low for about 10 hours.
I made some adjustments - I could not find beef conssume, or low salt beef
broth, so all this stuff added together sounded too salty. So I eliminated
the broth and used a little water. When it's done, drain the juice and get
the fat out, either with a gravy separator or by chilling it and skimming
off the fat. Reheat the juice if you need to. Serve on sandwich rolls -
good open-faced with cheese melted on top.
