Cola Glazed Ham

10 lb country ham
5 c cola
1/2 lb dark brown sugar

Soak the ham overnight.

Place rind side down in a roasting pan, pour over all but 3 T of the cola
and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 2 1/2 hrs, basting frequently.
Remove the ham from the oven and let cool for 15 min.  Remove the rind and
score the fat to a depth of about 1/4 inch.  Stick a clove in the center of
every other diamond.

Mix together the remaining cola and sugar and spoon over the ham.

Raise the oven temperature to 375 degrees and bake for another 25 minutes,
basting frequently.  Cover loosely with foil if the ham begins to brown too
much.  Allow the ham to stand for 15 minutes before slicing.
