Hawaiian Pork Chops

*-* Hawaiian Pork Chops *-*

4 pork chops, cut 1" thick
2 tbs vegetable oil
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp curry powder
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp [pepper
8 3/4 oz crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup snow peas

Heat the oil in a large skillet. Brown the pork chops
on both  sides. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Melt
the butter in  the same skillet. Add the green onion
and the garlic. Saute  until soft. Stir in the flour,
curry powder, chicken broth,  salt pepper, crushed
pineapple and the pineapple juice. Bring  the mixture
to a boil. Return the pork chops to the pan. Cover.
Simmer for 15 minutes. Add the snow peas. Cook for only
a few  minutes.
