Vegetarian Banana Muffins

   5      medium        bananas -- mashed
   3      cups          rolled oats
   2      teaspoons     baking powder
                        molasses -- to taste
     1/2  cup           nuts -- (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Mix dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl,
then add wet ingredients and mix until batter is blended well.  Prepare
muffin tins with paper liners, and pour batter into cups, filling 2/3 full.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
