4/16/05 AM

10:00 AM: We're having a lovely morning, although it did start out with Sophie's diaper leaking on her blankie and bed (soaked through the down comforter and sheets). Thank goodness we bought ourselves a waterproof mattress pad. Once we got that situation under control, the girls played nicely while Randall and I drank coffee and talked. Randall will spend much of today finishing off his sermon, and tonight we're getting a sitter. We're going to a party in Durham (hosted by my friend Jennifer from work and her boyfriend Brett). We're really looking forward to it. The party will be fun and 3 hours of talking in the car (with no kids!) will be nice too, since we enjoy each other's company so much.

Good for you!! I know you will have a great time at the party. Some adult time is always a good thing for everyone, children included, no matter what situation you are in. Glad the girls had a good day. Thanks again for the updates. Good luck Randall on the sermon.

Hi, I do hope that you have a wonderful time with your friends. I agree that some adult time together is important. What I wanted to let you know is that today in Norfolk, Va. at the Rejoice Marriage Ministries conference, Sophie was prayed for by name. The Steinkamp's have her on their personal prayer list. Charlyne kept three of the pictures I had with me of Sophie - one from our Christmas time together and two from when I visited last month. I haven't posted for awhile because I have been busy in PA. Trinity arrived 4/13 at 0522 weighing 8 pounds 2 ounces, 19 1/4 inches long. She was finally discharged this afternoon. She had the same jaundice problem as Rachael. They also thought treated her with antibiotics IV for two days for signs of infection. I will email privately later. I am happy to read that the girls are doing as well as can be expected given the stress in all of your lives. Take care. Love, Eileen
