03/22/08

10:29 PM (Texas time) We have had a couple of comments about not posting in a while, and I guess there's not much to post. The girls have been home for Spring Break this past week and we've been a little harried. Sophie lost her second upper tooth last night, so she's completely toothless. We're hoping to get a picture up very soon, but Sophie isn't too keen on having her picture taken right now. Maybe we'll have to sneak one without her knowing. Both girls are doing well, growing up and enjoying school. While Susan was away in Denver this past week, I took the bunkbeds apart and converted them to two twin beds. The girls were very excited about that and although it makes their room a little more crowded, they are really enjoying being "on the same level." Elisabeth even suggested that we buy them matching bedding now!

Susan and I have been busy with our jobs. As you can imagine, this is a busy time for clergy! Susan had a presentation in Denver last week and that seemed to go well. I'm sure it was good for her to see colleagues at the conference. As it turned out, she spent an extra day in Denver since her flight through DFW was cancelled. She took the opportunity to visit with our friends Bryant and Shelli near Denver (hi Bryant and Shelli!) and enjoyed the unplanned visit. Next week I'll go help out with a camp in the conference (pray for Susan at home with girls by herself!). Later in April, we'll both be gone for two weeks to work at the General Conference of The United Methodist Church in Forth Worth. It really seems as if it'll be one thing after another for our whole family until mid-June. Welcome to our whirlwind world!

Thanks for keeping in touch and be on the lookout for pictures of toothless Sophie!

Can't wait to see a picture of your toothless Sophie.
Take care.
